•  Critical skills required for this role are selling skills, strong domain knowledge, ability to identify the right opportunity at the right time, inter-personal and stakeholder relationship management skills, analytical skills, negotiation and execution skills and drive sales strategy.
• The minimum education and experience required to meet this profile is a Post Graduate (MBA preferred) with 10-15 years of sales experience in the general insurance industry

Fresh Acquisition of Clients

• Formulate strategies to acquire new clients for ABIBL 
• Guide team on sales strategies for acquiring new clients 
• Maintain effective relations with the cross-selling teams and other business teams to identify opportunities of lead generation 
• Identify new opportunities /segments /industry trends and allocate manpower accordingly 
• Ensure continuous flow lead generation from industry ecosystem

Servicing and retention of existing clients

•  Formulate strategies to service and retain the existing clients of ABIBL
•  Ensure that all client queries are being catered to, and intervene to support client queries as and when required 
• Formulate strategies for managing client expectations and ensure retention of all existing clients 
• Drive digital adoption across the clients for all portals 
• Monthly review with RET and servicing teams to and resolution of critical issues 
• Quarterly review with Zonal and Business head and client engagement

Client relationship Management

• Ensure effective client relationship management at a regional level 
• Intervene and respond to client queries and issues as and when required, to ensure client satisfaction 
• Guide and train all team members towards building effective relationships with new as well as existing clients 
• Drive sales through effective management of client expectations and perceptions 
• Arranging Seminars, Risk Inspection / Valuation for clients as value added services 
• Ensure stakeholder connect and with decision making influencers 
• Connect with SMT on regular basis

Trend analysis & forecasting

• Report daily sales figures to the corporate/HO 
• Track sales figures and provide revenue data to the senior management as and when required 
• Ensure that all sales figures are being reported accurately by team leaders/members 
• Prepare & share any data as required for any review/senior management updates 
• LOB wise forecasting

Team Management

• Communicate sales targets and achievement transparently to all team members 
• Guide the team and provide constructive feedback on performance on a timely basis 
• Identify and provide constant learning and growth opportunities to the team through training, job rotation 
• Build engagement in the team, analyze attrition cases in consultation with the HR team and formulate plans to keep the team motivated and engaged 
• Action planning basis the 360 degree feedback and effective course correction 
• Identify future talent basis potential and performance with HR

Other supporting activities

• Intervene and support the claims management team to address client issues and queries during the claim settlement process 
• Liaise with claims team and effective interventions with insurers for speedy settlement 
• Liasioning with Reinsurance team of Insurers & Acquiring slips of reinsurance as required. 
• Ensuring adherence to all compliance aspects & facilitate all audit related requirements 
• Assisting Operations team in recovery from insurance companies on account of recovery of brokerage
