Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established and growing financial services company to identify a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role on the Accounting team and be primed for quick growth and progression.

About the Company and the Senior Accountant Opportunity:

· Highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO. This position will support and execute daily accounting functions. With no initial direct reports, an ideal opportunity for a Senior Accountant ready to quickly progress to a Manager level

The Senior Accountant’s duties include but are not limited to:

· Provide assistance with monthly, quarterly, and year end closing

· Perform account reconciliations for cash and other balance sheet accounts

· Prepare and post monthly accrual journal entries

· Weekly accounts payable processing

· Administer corporate credit card program

· Maintain fixed assets and lease accounting standards

· Provide assistance and necessary documents and schedules to outside auditors

· Preparation of sales tax and personal property tax returns

· Other duties and ad hoc requests as assigned

The Senior Accountant’s Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 3+ year’s full-cycle accrual accounting experience

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Experience with Great Plains a plus
