Job Description-Monthly Financial and Management Reports1. Maintain accounting records including data entry of complete and accurate data for day-to-day business transactions.2. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes3. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness4. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested5. Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions6. Prepare accounting documents and monthly schedules.7. Prepare reconciliations such as bank and debtor/creditor reconciliations.8. Assist in the preparation of reports for external reporting (e.g. statutory annual financial statements).9. Perform other accounting / finance related duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.-Fixed Assets and Inventory Management1. Maintain fixed assets register listing for business units.2. Execute and ensure depreciation is properly calculated and captured.3. Ensure all transactions are recorded for asset purchases and asset writeoffs / disposals.4. Team and validate book value is in accordance with physical inventory volume on a regular basis.-Audit (External and Internal)1. Provide assistance to the auditors and handle matters raised by the auditors.2. Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end-Tax1. Assist with tax recording and reporting for Malaysia.2. Render assistance in any tax field audit, if any, conducted by the Inland Revenue Board.-Treasury and Banking1. Assist in managing and monitoring cash flows.2. Process payments for suppliers.3. Monitor Foreign Currency-Payroll Administration1. Process monthly payroll including generating payroll report, e-payslip from payroll system, transfer salaries and statutory payments via online banking.2. Generate yearly EA forms and submit Form E via online.-QUALIFICATION1. Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in Accounting.2. Minimum 5 year's experience.3. Good communication and excellent administrative skills4. Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative5. Solution-oriented6. Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken Self-reliant and efficient7. Flexible and adaptable attitude
